International Women’s Day Event at indiGO Auto GroupMarch 8, 2023
The month of March is all about celebrating women – their achievements, talents, contributions to their communities, and more. It is a day when women are recognized for their accomplishments without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic, or political. And at indiGO Auto Group, we strive to create and maintain an environment where our female partners have the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed every day.
This year’s International Women’s Day, there was no better way to honor the women in our company than by bringing them all together for a very special event at Porsche North Houston. indiGO Auto Group flew in managers from across state lines to enjoy the opportunity to hear female speakers in the workplace talk about their experiences.
The event kicked off the evening before with managers gathering for dinner at the exclusive Forest Club in Houston where everyone enjoyed a fantastic night of delicious food, networking, and great company.
On the day of the event, attendees enjoyed motivational talks from Rhoda Bueno, the Global Client Solutions Leader at PlayStation, Ayesha Coker, the Vice President of Marketing for Porsche Cars North America, and Karla Curtsinger, manager of Porsche San Francisco. Each shared their stories, the importance of women’s leadership in an industry dominated predominantly by men, and individual as well as company-wide goals.
Speeches were then followed with some tasty food from Saltgrass Steak House while everyone socialized, shared stories, and planned for the future.
