Velocity Invitational

Velocity Invitational is known for highlighting some of the automotive industry’s most historic racecars from around the world – and the 2022 event in Larkspur, Calif., successfully did that.
The highly anticipated and exclusive event showcased some of the world’s most historic racecars including the 1996 McLaren F1 GT12R and Ayrton Senna’s 1990 F1 World Championship car. There were also some on-track appearances by drivers Mario Andretti, Tanner Foust, Mika Häkkinen, and Pato O’Ward.
Ferrari Silicon Valley was the main sponsor of the three-day event with a great turnout of more than 15,000 guests and more than 600,000 followers who caught the live stream on Youtube. Guests were able to enjoy vintage racing, special exhibitions, plenty of food, and wine – all at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
Velocity Invitational prides itself in organizing charity auctions, and this year’s festival included a successful charity auction offering a chance to bid on two tickets to the highly anticipated event and an exclusive ride-along experience in the McLaren Artura supercar. The 2022 Velocity Invitational was without a doubt one for the books.
